problem with relay

Post by gdradio »

I just signed up with audiorealm to have a server act as a relay for me. I put in all the information and reset the server, however on the 'main' server, it is not appearing as a Relay, instead it connected as another listener and the server is not recognizing the relay! Also YP sees this server as a separate entity. How could this be? I have submitted a ticket to audiorealm support, but I figured maybe one of you would have an idea or 2.

oh, also: the 'main' server has an INTRO file. does this affect the relay? I noticed that the relay server doesn't play the intro file when i tune in to it... it goes right to the music.

snippet of logfile from RELAY:
<10/17/04@14:37:30> [source] creating relay socket
<10/17/04@14:37:30> [source] resolving relay host
<10/17/04@14:37:30> [source] relay host gave success (ICY 200 OK)
<10/17/04@14:37:30> [source] relay from www.broadandcast.com established.

snippet of logfile from MAIN:
<10/17/04@14:37:30> [dest: 64.62.253.225] starting stream (UID: 432311)[L: 9]{A: Shoutcast Server 1.9.2}(P: 9)

any ideas? :?

looks correct to me, and no the intro file would not play on the relay, if you want an intro file on the relay then you must specifically set one up.
