relay question

i use steamcast and have gotten it to work with relaying from a shoutcast server. However, the problem is i have 2 boxes with limited bandwidth. Is there any way to relay a username/password protected stream with steamcast?

I am streaming to box1 which runs steamcast with auth. But i dont want to send another upload to another box. So is there a way if i create a username password acct on one steamcast box can i get the 2nd box to relay from the first box so i dont have to send another stream uplink to the 2nd box.

Yes, although I have not specifically tested this out yet you can setup the relay with the address

http://localhost:8000/live.mp3?user=som ... s=password

the authentication is done via the params.
